signing your marriage license
Getting married in Colorado has its perks. Between the incredible mountain views, 300 days of sunshine, quaint and historic mountain towns, countless wildlife, and diversity in landscape, the cherry on top is that your pet can sign your marriage license. All you need is a Colorado marriage license, a clean-touch ink pad, and voilà — your pet’s paw print seals the deal.
HOW TO GET YOUR colorado marriage license:
Whether you’re coming from out of state or live in Colorado already, it’s super easy to get your marriage license since there is no waiting period! All you need to do is visit the County Clerk’s Office (some require appointments) nearest you. You both will need to attend at your scheduled time with valid ID and payment ($30) to complete the process. It’s printed for you on site, then you’re ready to get married.
customized doggy attire
I hope you’re giggling with me after seeing this GIF of C+A’s doggy, Tally, absolutely tearing apart her flower collar. It lasted about .1 seconds but made for the cutest memory and photos. Bow tie, or bandana that matches your wedding day color palette
Personalized jacket or vest with their name, your date, or special phrase embroidered
Tuxedos, dresses, and tutu’s are not out of the question
Bridal portraits
This is a no-brainer! We’ll capture you and your furry children multiple times throughout the day, but especially during your bridal portraits. These are the photos you’ll print and hang on your walls, show your family, friends, and grandchildren for the rest of your lives — ‘why wouldn’t we include your dogs for these special photos’ is my thought. I know for sure we’ll have our scruffy pup, Remi, with us during bridal photos so she can have her spotlight.
dog-friendly Luxury picnic
You guys know my love for picnics runs strong. If you're looking to combine adventure with a touch of luxury during your elopement, I highly recommend considering a luxury picnic. They offer a chance to savor the moment, soak in the beauty of your surroundings, and indulge in your favorite meal or dessert – just remember to bring your pup’s bed and they’ll make themselves right at home with you. Check out this blog all about luxury picnics.
