Cliffside Moab Adventure Elopement // Annette + TJ

Picture this: you and your lover, barefoot in the desert, wind in your hair, as the desert sunset lights the canyon. Welcome to the world of Moab adventure elopements! Moab, Utah and surrounding, is where the magic happens, and if you're the kind of couple who craves excitement and breathtaking landscapes, this is your spot. We're not talking about a regular wedding day, we're talking about an off-roading Moab adventure elopement!

Off-road to your cliffside elopement

A + TJ’s offroad cliffside elopement is the definition of running off into the sunset together ~swoon~. They eloped, just them two and the moon. These nature lovers wanted a completely secluded elopement experience, so we headed out west. This is one (of many) of my favorite remote cliffsides, offering massive views in every direction and only accessible by a challenging off-road. We piled into my 4Runner and the rest is history!

Moab’s Best Elopement Destinations

As you know, I’m a Colorado girl through and through, but I’ve been adventuring throughout the American Southwest for many years now. Moab has a plethora of incredible remote wedding locations, especially if you know where to go. Wherever you choose to elope in Moab, you cannot go wrong because around every corner is unique rock formations, countless hues of red rock, and cliffsides that stretch for miles and miles. These are a few of my favorites:

Arches National Park

Home of the most popular arches and red rock formations — and for good reason! If you choose to elope in Arches National Park, I recommend we go for sunrise to avoid crowds for a more secluded experience. Like most National Parks, you’ll need to obtain a permit to get married in Arches. Canyonlands National Park

Experience massive cliffs that span as far as your eyes can see. The textures and colors in Canyonlands National Park are like non-other. There’s many scenic viewpoints that offer panoramic views, making it an insane backdrop to exchange vows. Click here to read all about permits for getting married in Canyonlands National Park.

Dead Horse State Park

This state park is known for its jaw-dropping overlooks of the Colorado River, and standing on the edge gives you views of Canyonlands National Park! The sheer cliffs and the rugged terrain create a dramatic setting for your day. The park has designated ceremony sites that must be reserved. BLM Public land + MOre

The key to eloping in Moab is knowing where to go — which is a perk for my couples! When you book me for your Moab adventure elopement, you get access to my favorite remote cliffsides and secluded locations that are not on a map!
